Incorporated in 1930, the Wales Center Volunteer Fire Company is a 100% volunteer agency serving the citizens of the Wales Center Fire Protection District, which is located wholly within the Town of Wales, County of Erie, State of New York. Our District covers approximately thirty-five square miles and serves a population of over two thousand five hundred residents. Our membership consists of Firefighters, Emergency Medical Technicians, Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians, Fire Police Officers, Junior Members, Social Members and Honorary Members. We also have an Auxiliary. Our apparatus consists of two pumper-tankers, one rescue truck, one advanced life support certified ambulance, and a 4-wheel drive ATV and rescue sled.
Membership is open to any Wales Center community resident, 16 years of age or older. Please contact one of the officers if you are interested in joining. You may also call the fire hall at (716) 652-1051 and leave a message.
